Clearcoat: Mipa CS21 Clear 5 Litre Kit

MIPA CS21 is a 2K (two-component) High Solid (HS) acrylic clearcoat that, when mixed with MIPA SR10 Fast Hardener at a 2:1 ratio (Clearcoat:Hardener), provides a durable, scratch-resistant, high-gloss finish for automotive, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle repairs, working well over waterborne or solvent basecoats and offering fast drying times, even with minimal thinning. 

Key Features

• Type: 2K HS Acrylic Clearcoat (Klarlack).
• Technology: Uses Reflow Technology, applied without thinner.
• Resistance: Excellent resistance to micro-scratches (from car washes) and chemicals.
• Application: Easy to apply, suitable for full or partial repaints, and works over waterborne or solvent basecoats.
• Finish: High gloss level.
• Drying: Fast drying, especially with the SR10 hardener. 

Mixing & Application (General Guidelines) 

• Ratio: 2 parts CS21 Clearcoat to 1 part SR10 Hardener (2:1).
• Application: Apply a 3/4 coat, allow 1-3 mins flash-off, then apply one full coat.
• Flash-off (after basecoat): 10 minutes.
• Drying: Air dry at 20°C (68°F) for 24 hours, or bake at 60°C (140°F) for 30 mins.
